Inspired and later created by Howard Stone over 20 years ago, Vail Jazz started off as a vision to bring jazz and the Colorado lifestyle together. After many successful attempts, Vail Jazz was created as an organization dedicated to the perpetuation of jazz music with a specific emphasis on young musicians and young audiences.
